Enriching Arabic Content: A Strategic Collaboration Between Wikipedia and Al Diwan
Wikipedia Arabic has partnered with Al Diwan, Alfa History’s premier Arabic poetry platform, to enrich and authenticate Arabic literary content online. Since March 2022, both teams have worked to link poets and poems across their databases through unique identifiers. Alfa History led the documentation and verification process, successfully adding over 200 poet pages. This collaboration aims to enhance the credibility of Arabic poetry on Wikipedia and preserve literary heritage for future generations.
